Goods issue is when you process a reservation or a work order using MIGO in SAP

A reservation is created by an internal department within the mine site to reserve materials from our warehouse inventory for collection or delivery. A work order is a pre-organised task within a department on the mine-site that requires materials from the warehouse to complete a task.

A material document is automatically created when you issue any parts or materials that are leaving the plant. The Mat Doc is a unique number that is tied to each individual goods issue. Every material issue label will have the material document number on, so if you need to cancel it, the easiest way would be to cancel the mat doc which is associated with this unique transaction.
